Maria Birgen is a programme and project management professional with over 15 years of experience in youth development, programme management, and institutional partnerships across Kenya and the United Kingdom. She currently serves as Deputy Director – Programmes and Projects Coordination at The President’s Award – Kenya, where she leads the coordination and delivery of programmes that empower young people to develop skills, leadership, and resilience while contributing to community and national development.
Maria provides strategic leadership in programme planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, working closely with government agencies, educational institutions, and development partners to strengthen programme quality and expand youth participation. She also champions innovation in programme management, including the adoption of digital platforms that enhance monitoring, reporting, and participant engagement.
Her professional experience includes senior roles in programme and project management with New Kenya Cooperative Creameries, Huawei Technologies, and the Ministry of Health (seconded to the Council of Governors). She also gained early career experience in customer service, programme coordination and communications in Birmingham, London, and Coventry.
Maria holds an MSc in Project Management and an MA in Media and Communications from Birmingham City University, and a BA in International Relations from the United States International University – Africa. She has also completed executive leadership programmes at the Kenya School of Government and Strathmore Business School.

Emmanuel Ouko Oginga is an accomplished ICT professional specializing in network systems, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT infrastructure. He holds a Master of Science in Digital Services Management and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and is certified in CCNA, IBM Security Intelligence Analyst, CyberOps Associate, DevNet Associate, and Cisco Cybersecurity.
He has led ICT operations across public, private, and development sectors, delivering secure networks, ERP implementations, and digital transformation initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. His work reflects a balance of technical depth and strategic leadership.
As the Head of ICT, Emmanuel oversees ICT strategy, systems governance, infrastructure security, and digital innovation. He ensures system reliability, data integrity, and effective user support while driving the adoption of modern, scalable technologies.
His earlier roles strengthened his expertise in network administration, systems support, and ICT project execution, including preventive maintenance frameworks, CCTV and IP telephony deployments, LAN upgrades, and contributions to the Digital Literacy Programme in Siaya County. His leadership is further reinforced by the Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) and the Senior Management Course (SMC).

Alex Katabwa Kamba holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management, and a CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. He is a registered member of both the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS, UK) and the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM, Kenya).
With over 18 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, Alex has built a robust career spanning both the public and private sectors. He is currently the Head of Supply Chain Management. His previous experience includes a significant tenure at the County Assembly of Kitui, as well as private sector roles at companies such as Printrite Displays (K) Ltd, Premier Cookies Ltd, and G4S Security Services (K) Ltd.
As the Head of Supply Chain Management, Alex provides strategic leadership across the entire procurement value chain. He is responsible for developing and implementing procurement policies, overseeing procurement planning and tendering processes, managing contracts and supplier performance, and ensuring strict compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (PPADA) 2015. His role is pivotal in driving efficiency and transparency in support of his organization’s strategic objectives.

Neddy Mbori is an accomplished communication professional with a strong background in strategic communication and media relations. She holds an MA in Communication Studies from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Marketing option) from Mt. Kenya University, and a Diploma in Journalism from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication. Neddy is a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK), reflecting her commitment to excellence and ethical practice in the communication profession.
With a career rooted in public relations and corporate communications for over 11 years, Neddy has built a reputation for crafting impactful communication strategies, fostering stakeholder engagement, and enhancing institutional visibility. She has successfully led initiatives across diverse communication platforms, aligning messaging with organizational goals and national development priorities.
She has completed the Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) and Senior Management Course to enhance her leadership skills.
Currently serving as the Head of Communications, Neddy is responsible for driving the institution’s internal and external communication agenda. Her role includes media liaison, branding and reputation management, content creation, crisis communication, and oversight of digital platforms. Her leadership ensures consistent, clear, and effective communication that supports the organization’s strategic objectives. She previously served as a PR and Communications officer at the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority.

Wendy Langat is a people-centered HR professional with extensive experience in public sector HR management, employee relations, organizational development, and governance support. She holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Daystar University, a BSc in Hotel and Restaurant Management from USIU-Africa, a Higher Diploma in HR Management, and a CHRP-K certification.
A Registered member of IHRM Kenya with a valid Practicing License, she enhanced her leadership via the Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) and Senior Management Course (SMC). As Head of HR & Administration at The President’s Award – Kenya, Wendy leads HR strategies aligned with empowering youth through non-formal education. She oversees talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, staff development, policy implementation, restructuring, compliance, and capacity building.
She also advises Board Committees on HR matters. Previously at New KCC Ltd in employee relations and resourcing, plus hospitality HR roles, she built strong talent management skills. Wendy commits to institutional effectiveness, ethical leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement in public service.
